These fantasy-scape pieces are inspired by a childhood of daydreaming alone on my bedroom floor, reading Tolkein, watching Bob Ross on TV, and romping through the woods in my back yard before they were unceremoniously chopped down and ravaged to make way for cookie-cutter suburbs. They are the places I'd drift off to when I'd be on a long car ride, comatose in detention, stuck in a boring conversation, or slogging through a particularly mundane shift at work. I've always been a huge fan of stories that created iconic locations that you could dream about wandering around in long after you've finished reading or watching. Places like Rivendell, Hogwarts, Cloud City, and Gotham. As soon as I started writing my own stories, I would try to create places like those that others would want to dream about wandering around in. Many of these are ideas for stories that I'm writing, notably a story called Madhouse. You'll see a lot of the characters from those stories hanging out somewhere comfortably in the landscape, which I think also stems from my childhood memories of endlessly scanning through Where's Waldo books. Anyways, I hope you enjoy these and that they spark your imagination, as other creators have mine.
